Arts Rolla

The City of Rolla sponored through its art promotion program a call for photographs from the surrounding area so asking Linda, which images she thought that I should enter we decided on two landscape pictures, "Kerry's Pond" and "View from Highway 17."  My pictures did not win any awards however they were seen by many different people during the month of the show.  I spoke to the judge after and got a few pointers.  My taste in pictures and his run at polar opposite.  I prefer an Ansel Adams type landscape image.

    I'm excited to learn about your blog. Interesting that you were able to talk with one of the judges. Certainly we must always remember how subjective art contests can be. Looks like you had two great entries, congratulations!
